McCashins Brewery in Nelson produces a range of beers from local ingredients, such as Nelson hops. There are 6 beers always available and a series of others which are produced in smaller quantities. The Macs brand is now owned by one of New Zealands large breweries, Lion, but the brewery in Nelson is still owned by Terry McCashin.
