(Up to OJB's Lindemans Page) Lindemans Sauvignon Blanc 2004Tasted: | 04 Apr 2005 (age 1 year) | Name: | Lindemans Bin 95 (118) | Variety: | Sauvignon Blanc | Year: | 2004 | Producer: | Lindemans (208) | Region: | Australia | Rating: | ok | Web Site: | http://www.lindemans.com | | The colour was a light pale gold. The bouquet showed floral citrus lime and gooseberry. The flavour was crisp, with a slightly creamy dry finish. This was a fairly simple but quite pleasant style, but lacking the intensity of New Zealand varieties. |
Note 1 I am not really a wine expert (just an enthusiastic amateur), so please don't take my recommendations as anything more than a rough guide to these wines. I can take no responsibility if you buy a lot, on my recommendation, and then regret it! Note 2 You may not agree with my evaluation of these wines as a lot of this is quite subjective. I tend to put a lot of emphasis on complexity and intense characteristic flavours and bouquet, so if you disagree you might just have different priorities. ![[Up]](../XuShared/Up2B.jpeg)
