(Up to OJB's Styles Page) Pegasus Bay Sauvignon Blanc - Semillon 2004Tasted: | 03 Dec 2005 (age 1 year) | Name: | Pegasus Bay Sauvignon Semillon (249) | Variety: | Sauvignon Blanc - Semillon | Year: | 2004 | Producer: | Pegasus Bay | Region: | Waipara | Rating: | good- | Web Site: | http://www.pegasusbay.com | | The colour was medium greenish gold, with a bright and clear appearance. There was a strong crisp grass, and capsicum gooseberry fruit bouquet. The taste showed strong citrus lemon acid, grassy gooseberry fruit, a long crisp finish, and light wood. This was a quite intense crisp clean style, with nice balance. |
Note 1 I am not really a wine expert (just an enthusiastic amateur), so please don't take my recommendations as anything more than a rough guide to these wines. I can take no responsibility if you buy a lot, on my recommendation, and then regret it! Note 2 You may not agree with my evaluation of these wines as a lot of this is quite subjective. I tend to put a lot of emphasis on complexity and intense characteristic flavours and bouquet, so if you disagree you might just have different priorities. ![[Up]](../XuShared/Up2B.jpeg)
